Is the listing fee the only cost payable, or do I pay commission on each sale as well? 

You do not pay commission on sales, regardless of the number of sales made. 

How often do I pay the listing fee?

Your listing fee is payable for 1 calendar year, in advance. This fee is non-refundable.

How do I use it in conjunction with other social media?

You can include your Facebook as well as your Twitter ID in your Xplore Handcrafted profile. As soon as you include your Facebook ID, it will show up on your Facebook page. We are currently working on linking your Instagram account as well.

If I do not make my address details available, can I still opt to be part of the craft/art trails?

No, only those who list their address can be a part of the trails. However, you are able to up-date your details as often as you like, so should you wish to make it available for a pre-arranged trail, you can do so and then remove your address details once the trail has taken place.

Am I able to remove unfair feedback?

All feedback is viewed by the administrator/s of the website prior to being published. No unfair or unrelated feedback will be published. If there is feedback relating to bad quality/service, we will contact you to ensure that the matter, as well as any problems/concerns were dealt with.

How soon are my changes up-dated?

Any changes to your page will be seen within a few minutes. If for example you want to let your customers know that you will no longer be attending a market due to illness etc, this will be seen almost as soon as you enter the information. Push-notifications will however only go out once a day. Some people have many apps on their phone and we do not want to have too many notifications going out to them daily.

How do I bring my clients attention to important changes such as a change of address, new stockists, new range, or a sale?

You may enter this information under 'News'. 'News" will be checked daily and entered onto the website. Everyone who has downloaded the app will receive push notifications of any changes. Should you feel that your news is urgent and that you would like the Xplorers to receive the change before the close of business day, please send us an email to bring it to our attention.

How many photos may I up-load?

There is currently no limit to your number of photos, this may however change in the future.

How do I ensure that Xplorers find me whilst searching?

You are able to enter search words that you feel are relevant to you/your craft. It pays to think out of the box when choosing these search words. Pure cotton, free-range, eco-friendly, pre-shrunk, local produce etc are examples.

Who can create saved tours?

Explorers can save their tour once completed, and give it a name so that others in future can either use their existing tour or create their own. On the other hand, handcrafters may get together, create their own craft tour, give it their own name e.g. "Kaikoura Weavers Tour" and create a news event for it. You will then also have the option to place an advertisement for it on the website. This is an especially wonderful tool if there is a special event happening in your area e.g. a Sheep Shearing competition. You could use the opportunity to attract the people that will be visiting for the event to similar types of handcrafters i.e. weavers, pure wool knitted items, sheepskin products etc. Once created, you will receive a QR code for the event which can be used for advertising purposes etc.
